Optimism
Let me have my delusions,
they’re worth it to me.
My whole world’s exploding,
just let me believe.
It could be unrealistic,
you’re probably right,
but it’s all that keeps me going.
My imaginary light.
I’ve tried your ‘realism’
I’ve tried to quit pretending.
My whole life lost its meaning,
and I nearly met my ending.
So, I’ll hold...
